This was one of the best conferences I’ve been to and spoken at. It felt very different to the usual fare.

— Warren Seeto
My experience of Work+Life X was inspiring, purposeful and reflective. I’m feeling so much more connected to my purpose after the weekend, thank you for your hearts and encouragement. So many take aways, but significantly that with presence and active recovery, I’m able to find more joy, meaning and purpose in my life. I need to trust what feels good and not wait for permission to do so.

It was one of the best conferences I have been to. I received something from every speaker. I walked away knowing that it is truly possible for me to create a business that works with my desired lifestyle, values and big goals. The attention to the experience of attendees was excellent.
— Nell Casey
What a fantastic experience, such a lovely group of people with meaningful and inspiring discussion. It was inspiring and uplifting, thank you!
— Tanya Erdos
It was so grounded and inspiring at the same time. What a potent mix to call us to action in creating the lives we aspire to!
— Dr Danielle Campbell
There was so much I took away! I have 15+ pages of notes from each of the sessions which I’ll be converting into action items. I met so many inspiring people, the sessions and presenters were so engaging and relevant. It was great to see everyone talking about different experiences and insights yet all with similar trends. One of the key things I wanted to learn was how to find balance in such a busy world and my main takeaway leaving the conference was that in order for me to look after others (including my team) I need to prioritise self-care and to be more present in all areas of my life.

I really enjoyed the “exercises” prompted by some presenters and the reflection time between presentations. It was enjoyable, inspiring and necessary and I have implemented changes as a result with my team at work already.
— Ina Karnath
It was fantastic and I have already raved and shared about it to many friends. SO many things that I can and will put into action in my life and my family’s, but one step at a time rather than trying to change everything immediately - I already know that doesn’t work!
— Toni Kibbey
What an amazing event you’ve created! The variety and quality of speakers was amazing, it really prompted conversation on the topics of work and life with others, and I feel like I’ve finally found the community of people I’ve been looking for. I really hope there’s a way to keep this momentum going! Well done Kate and Kate!

I was prompted to come to Work+Life X by my desire to be part of the movement Kate and Kate were creating. I left knowing that I am not the only one wanting meaning in my work. It was amazing to be a part of this experience.
— Simon Wong
My biggest take away was that it’s up to each individual to be intentional about how we design our work and lives - paying attention to how we want to feel and being open to exploring new ways of doing things that feel aligned, supportive, sustainable and inspiring. It was really inspiring to see so many people doing things differently and succeeding with it. A great reminder that we all have the choice to design work and life on our own terms and that we can continue to fine-tune and make changes no matter how long we’ve been in business.
